Your Batch was caught by: Brenda Kay
The Brenda Kay, proudly owned by Sapelo Shrimp Company, carries more than shrimp — it carries a legacy. Named in honor of owner Bill Harris’s mother, the vessel was purchased and fully restored in 2020. Today, it not only harvests wild-caught shrimp but also plays a vital role in conservation, partnering with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to protect endangered sea turtles by relocating them during dredging and channel projects. The Brenda Kay is more than a boat; it’s a working symbol of tradition, family, and stewardship of our coastal waters.
